Anh Trần Minh Thắng ( JOHN MINH TRẦN  ) con trai thứ 2 của ông Trần Bảo Hải ,tối ngày hôm qua 24 /02 / 2015 tại Canada đã nhận được giải thưởng danh giá về lĩnh vực điện ảnh Cinema Photography Tại Toronto Canada 

Đó là thành quả và nỗ lực phấn đấu  , học tập, rèn luyện , phục vụ trong liĩnh vực nghành  Điện Ảnh , chuyên nghành quay phim , qua nhiều năm .

Đây là một vinh dự lớn đối với gia đình ông Trần Bảo Hải và bà Phí Thị Hương , đã có một người con ưu tú được xã hội tôn vinh và công nhận  , nói riêng.

Và cũng góp phần làm rạng rỡ  tổ tông, rạng danh họ Trần , nói chung.

JOHN MINH TRAN is an award winning Cinematographer. Born in Vietnam and raised in Calgary, John moved to Toronto to attend Ryerson University for film studies. Since graduating in 1995 he has remained in Toronto working as a cinematographer in documentary, drama and commercials. A winner of the Canadian Society of Cinematographer's (CSC) Best Documentary Cinematography award for Waterlife (Primitive) directed by Kevin MaMahon, John has also received CSC nominations for Standing Waves (Primitive) directed by Kevin McMahon and Mozartballs (Rhombus) directed by Larry Weinstein. In addition to the CSC, John received a Gemini nomination for Cheating Death (NFB) directed by Eric Geringas. In 2013 John's feature documentary Our Man in Tehran directed by Larry Weinstein and Drew Taylor premiered at TIFF. John's list of commercial work includes TV spots for LCBO, Manulife, Coca Cola, ScotiaBank, Petro Canada, Canadian Blood Services, Plan Canada and many more. In 2015 John received a Canadian Screen Award nomination in cinematography for his work on Drew Taylor and Larry Weinstein film "Our Man of Tehran"

JOHN MINH TRẦN là một người say mê điện ảnh. Sinh ra tại Việt Nam và lớn lên ở Calgary, John chuyển đến Toronto để tham dự Đại học Ryerson cho nghiên cứu phim. Sau khi tốt nghiệp vào năm 1995, anh đã ở lại Toronto làm việc như một nhà quay phim trong phim tài liệu, phim truyền hình và quảng cáo. Một giải thưởng của Hiệp hội Canada (CSC) Phim tài liệu xuất sắc nhất giải thưởng Quay phim Quay phim cho Waterlife  của đạo diễn Kevin MaMahon, John cũng đã nhận được đề cử CSC cho  Waves  của đạo diễn Kevin McMahon và Mozartballs (Rhombus) của đạo diễn Larry Weinstein . Ngoài các CSC, John nhận được một đề cử cho Gemini Cheating Death (NFB) của đạo diễn Eric Geringas. Năm 2013 John của phim tài liệu Man của chúng tôi tại Tehran của đạo diễn Larry Weinstein và Drew Taylor chiếu tại TIFF. Danh sách các công việc thương mại của John bao gồm các điểm TV cho LCBO, Manulife, Coca Cola, Scotiabank, Petro Canada, Dịch Vụ Máu Canada, Kế hoạch Canada và nhiều hơn nữa.Năm 2015 John nhận được một đề cử giải thưởng Screen Canada về điện ảnh cho công việc của mình trên Drew Taylor và Larry Weinstein phim "Man của chúng tôi Tehran"

JMT and I shot shot this video spontaneously at Mike and Eileen's wedding in Cuba. JMT was shooting with a detached lens all the way through, doing his lens whacking thing. This was not necessarily by choice, as he forgot his regular lenses in the room. Well he made it work, and along with my shots, we are quite pleased at how this video turned out.

Toronto (/tɵˈrɒntoʊ/, local /ˈtrɒnoʊ/) is the most populous city in Canada and the provincial capital of Ontario. It is located in Southern Ontario on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, with the original city area lying between the Don and Humber rivers. According to the 2011 Census, the city had 2,615,060 residents while its census metropolitan area (CMA), which comprises the majority of the Greater Toronto Area, had a population of 5,583,064.

The history of Toronto began in the late 18th century when the British Crown purchased its land from theMississaugas of the New Credit. The settlement established there became York, which lieutenant governor John Graves Simcoe designated as the capital of Upper Canada. The city was ransacked in the Battle of York during the War of 1812. In 1834, York became a city and renamed to Toronto. It was damaged in two huge fires in 1849and 1904. Since 1954, the city occasionally expanded its borders through amalgamation with surrounding municipalities, most recently occurring in 1998. This process has left Toronto with clearly defined neighbourhoodsthat have retained their distinctive nature, earning it the nickname the "City of Neighbourhoods".

Toronto is at the heart of the Greater Toronto Area, and of the densely populated region in Southern Ontarioknown as the Golden Horseshoe. Its cosmopolitan and international population reflects its role as an important destination for immigrants to Canada. Toronto is one of the world's most diverse cities by percentage of non-native-born residents, with about 49% of the population born outside Canada.

As Canada's commercial capital, it is home to the Toronto Stock Exchange and the headquarters of Canada's five largest banks. Leading economic sectors in the city include finance, business services, telecommunications, aerospace, transportation, media, arts, publishing, software production, medical research, education, tourism, and engineering. Toronto is considered an alpha world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network and is placed among the Global Leaders in the Global Financial Centres Index. The city is also consistently rated as one of the world's most liveable cities by the Economist Intelligence Unit and the Mercer Quality of Living Survey.
